Welcome to the ACC Club International Forum, this forum is dedicated to all Virtual Skipper ACC Fans worldwide, here our members can share their online gaming experience with other Virtual Skipper ACC Fans. Here you can ask for hints and tips about the game and also discuss rules as well as any other topic about Virtual Skipper. Over time we will also conduct competitions and events that can be played online with other players around the world, the Clubhouse can be used to inform other members of upcoming events and activities that can be played online.

We hope to be a major hub for ACC fans to meet and greet to get to know each other in a friendly environment. Over time we hope to host some major events and host Club Competitions for ACC players. Also available are ACC Skins created by our members for public use. So please sit back, relax and join in discussions with all our members, and welcome to VSK ACC Racing Club International.

Offensive Language:

Please try to avoid using offensive language while making posts, remember that this is a family forum and there will often be children browsing or as members of our forum for this reason please try to keep your comments civil.

Personal Attacks/Trolling:

At no time are members permitted to verbally attack other members of this forum, remember we are all here to relax and enjoy the experience of the game that we love and to socialize with our friends online. Trolling is strictly forbidden here and members are warned that the display of excessive anti-social behaviour may be grounds for ban from this site. If you find you are the subject of personal attacks, try not to add to the flame war, take a neutral stance and imediately inform a moderator or admin by PM (Private Message) of the situation and let us handle it.

Political & Religious Commentary:

Politics & Religion are always sensitive issues, while we do not ban these subjects it is important for members to understand that we are a global community with members from all ethnic backgrounds, religions and experiences, for this reason it is a precursor that all members keep their comments civil, respectful and courteous at all times. This is a forum to discuss Virtual Skipper and not a platform for which to launch religious or political views.


Moderators:

Moderators should always try to help their subforums' members. Never leave a question unanswered, and always be polite. Use your privileges only when necessary. If uncertain ask an online admin. Never use your privileges without adding a public note in the topic explaining your decision. Patience and politeness are vital. People may make mistakes, have a bad day and be aggressive. No reason to stop being polite to them. Moderators are here to help, not to police. Also, please don't show preferential behaviour. Judge based on the post, not on your feelings or on the track record of the members. If you can't be neutral, you can't be moderators.

Administrators:

Admins should always listen to all members and try to help them with all their needs. Listening is vital. Practically all responsibilities of the mods hold for the admins too, e.g. explain your actions with a note, etc."


Finally remember we are all here to relax and enjoy the experience of Virtual Skipper together, we are from all walks of life and our experience of the game may vary from person to person. Please try to respect that others may not have been playing for long, and their standing here at ARC is equal to the rest of us. "All" members here are of equal standing and everyones comments are important to us. Remember that it is just a game, and while some members may be actual yachtsmen others of us are not and we are here to share in our "mutual" enjoyment of a "game".

Most importantly remember to have fun! Thats why we are here!

The ACCEES are great, long enough to learn and with very good atmosphere, thanks to Dan

Aloha Dan, just joined today. I never really pay too much attention to points and such, I just race for fun, but you got my attention, so I thought I should check this out. I have been an avid racer since the late 70's, raced at the national and international level, but since moving to Maui 9 years ago, my racing has tapered off a lot. I enjoy these games when I can. Its my pleasure Andre, I think enthusiasm and participation in games such as this generates even more enthusiasm and participation...and therefore the game stays alive in us the players.

That is why I started ACCEES knowing that alot of guys out there enjoy the challenge of (what we call) endurance racing. Of course everyone knows that "real" endurance races can take several days to complete, but nobody has the time to do that, so I made ACCEES, a series of Endurance (1 hour+ Races) for players to enjoy.

It takes a whole different style of approach to that of a "short course race" and because we play each venue for 1 week before we move to the next round, it gives players such as yourself the time to learn the tracks, to get to know them, to come to terms with them and to eventually squeeze the most out of them, resulting in Round wins, and points. Eventually an ACCEES Ranking.....something to race for....an objective as it where. Not just a series of meaningless races. We all love them too, but its great to race for something.....to reach for something.....to achieve something.

Thats what we are here for and Im very proud to welcome one of my long time ACCEES competitors and today a true champion....well done J316 and welcome to our little club here.

I am humbled and honored to be champion of this event. So many quality competitors. I am going to be on a work project for the month of October that will seriously compromise my playing time, but such is life. I will enjoy the game when I can. How would I go about finding the maps you use so I can study or download them?

Hello every one Is time I introduce myself. My name is Pat Ruhland, I have been sailing VSK for about two years now I think. I enjoy the sailing and the freinds I make. I grew up sailing,mostly on forty footers till I got out of High School. In 1985 My dad bought 54 foot boat witch is mine now. I like the ACC boats because they act kind of like the boat I sail on the water three times a week. Slow to accelerate out of a tack and the starts on VSK are like my starts on saturdays and wednesdays. I was born in 1966, I have raced 31 bayveiw to mackinaw races (250 mile race) witch makes me an Old Goat by local standards. I have raced I the BVI and SORC , Key west race week, Cheasapeak bay and my home sailing grounds is the Saginaw Bay. I have sailed from Nova Scotia to South Carolina, Flordia to Bermuda then down to Tortola and back twice. and a bunch of outher fun. I do not spell or type worth a crap. It is my honor to be a member of this club. I already feel at home here and I hope I can help the club and membership to grow. Thank you Dan and the rest of the adminisration.

Welcome Jammy Dodger, great to have you here, sorry about your message, often forums run under a "maximum character" allowance which is a good idea for our war against the spammers. Give it another go mate, and perhaps try and keep it a bit shorter. It is a real pleasure to have met you online, and its clear you are a competitor of great talent the ACC Racing Club (ARC) will be proud to have you on board.

Also my sincere apologies for the oversight to the ARS Sprint Series Leaderboard, we back everything up on hard copy any how and I will edit the boards this morning and fix the error for you. Bad form on our part mate, you did really well on day 3 of round 1 of the series and deserve to have the points on the boards.

Greetings from Finland, I believe i am the newest member of the club and not many of you know me that well. My name is Olli 25 years old and not living at my mums, contrary what Jammy says. Studying to become a yacht engineer and maby someday comming there down under to learn from the best boat builders in the world.
I'm allready exited from one accees race. Maby oneday i'll earn my arc number and be able to race with the lot of you.
Questions will be answered and hoping to get to know you guys better. Preferably on the race track.
