| Your hilarious John....muahahahaha! One question brother....what's a Burgee? Please forgive my naval programing, I have had my head stuck up my butt studing nothing but naval warfare for the past 6 years...now is a burgee like a naval ensign? AS it seem thats what we are creating here....Burgee....never heard of that. To brother Pat...buddy its not necessary for the colours to be green and gold in honor of myself. Although I certainly appreciate your gesture. Our club colours are Blue and Yellow with white added. So I guess our ensign should reflect these I would say. I will certainly have a crack at this myself...and great post, well done. PS:...great to be back amongst my friends, cheers Pat & John. You guys rock! Dan | |

| HAHAHAHAHA, DAN/ALL, Tradition mates. You may display it on a spreader halyard whitch we dont have , or keep it in your closet. Its our announcment to the world that we are ARC. ONE THING FOR SUREY IS YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO DISPLAY IT WHEN YOU RACE??? Why I Dont know"TRADITION" crazy stuff. Our neighbor VSK-AUS has one I think VSKA also does I have seen a few other clubs around the net. IF WHEN WE DO DECIDE ON ONE YOU MAY THINK ABOUT PUTTING IT UP ON THE SITE BANNER AT THE TOP (burgee flag>> ACC Racing Clubhouse<< burgee flag) or someplace else. You can make the call if we do or not. Look into burgee history on the net. THIS SOUNDS A LITTLE SAPPY BUT I'VE NOTICED THAT ACC RACING CLUBHOUCE'S EARLY STAGE OF GROTH HAS AQUIRED A STRONGE PROUD IDENTITY AMONGST OUR SELVES. AND THIS IN OF ITS SELF DESERVES A BURGEE. IF WE OWN A YACHT OUTSIDE OF VIRTUAL OR NOT IT DOESN'T MATTER WE ALL OWN ONE HERE IN OUR HEARTSGO ARC TO THE MEMBERSHIP RESPECTFULLY JOHN | |

| Well spoken sir...I agree I can certainly "burgee up" the title banner, I need to rename the forum at some point, probably in a year from now when our domain name is due for payment. I would make it a much shorter name so that guys can find us easier. When this happens I will redesign the title banner and most definitely "Burgee" the banner. Burgee Burgee Burgee!!!!! Dan | |

| hehehe...I dont like picking winners, especially when good friends and very talented artists are concerned, but if it were my choice I would pick the "Burgee" just above here, the International Globe is part of what we are all about, and so it should be there in our "Coat of Arms"...err "Ensign"...ahh "Burgee"....oh you know what I mean...lol I liked Gazza's as well with the motion blurr, but if I were to pick a winner I would pic Johns final effort here Burgee 3 for me. Guys I could not do any better than that you both have incorporated what we are all about with them, so I am not going to try. Gazza has put the team boat together and gets all future credit for it, and any amendments made to it over the years. So I would like to award the Burgee contest winner to John and Burgee 3. I will re-do our header when I get the chance to and incorporate the Burgee. Burgee 3 is our official Ensign from now on and may be used in all ARC promotional posters etc as members see fit. Well done to both of you, great job to both and congratulations John, great work. Cheers guys and thanks. Dan | |

| Hi, look what I've done... I didn't put the globe for two reasons, First, If its going to be small in our skins, then the globe wont be seen clearly so whats the point (In my opinion) of having something to be shown that wont be recognized. Second, I think that Burgees must be embroided, to give that traditional look and "embroiding" those small flags would be very difficult. Now, I hace chosen serif typography beacuse it gives a classic and traditional look. For the first one i used an italic font because it gives some "dynamic" and "speed" to the design, for the second one i used Rotis Semi Serif Type, that is a mixture between classic and modern and beacuse the angle of the "A" went great with the angle of the yellow panel. suggestions, opinions, insults (they are feedback anyways) are welcome | |

| I like a man that likes to play with graphics...ok so that sounded a little wrong. Nevermind, great work Franco I like it, I guess we dont need the globe on there, since it is generally on the ARC Sticker that goes on our yachts and the Burgee is supposed to be something different to the logo...right? Can we use more than 1 type of Burgee and fa Christs sake can we call it a flag or pennant or something, Burgee sounds like a recreational sport or type of parrot. hehehehe:lol: Cheers guys Dan | |
