Hello to all ARC-sailors,
I am happy to join you at the invitation of Dan and Legsy. I still hesitated because I'm a loner. I agreed because we share certain values about fair play and friendly fun.
In life I am a theater stage manager. I only work on tour and this is why I have long periods without play. I'm living in Paris, France, too far from the sea, even if long time ago I was sailing instructor for beginners children in optimist.
I want to explain the origin of my nickname HOHZHOH (no correct spelling, because it's a spoken language), which will clear up on my state of mind. This is an original word from Navajo people, a primitive Indian tribe in America. It is a philosophical precept that encompasses the beauty, harmony and interconnectedness with natural world. I discovered in the Tony Hillerman mystery novels (the best for me is "Coyote waits"), itself inspired by Australian author Arthur W. Upfield. Both are inspired by the traditions of the primitive peoples of these two countries and their tales and legends.
Kindly yours
